just re-read owners manual on PDR (again)
manual says this option has audio recording feature
used PDR for the first time today, records OK BUT no audio on playback
Yes, I know this section also has explanation of "TEEN" mode and I understand this is NOT really available, bur how about audio recording/playback?
or is this something else that didn't make it into production cars?
Yes, I know for a fact it records audio because I was playing with mine the other day and was surprised how good the audio actually was.... It records in-car only so you can hear conversations, radio, etc... I had my radio loud and that's all I heard. Then I tried again with the radio turned down and I heard my voice talking to the toll attendant very clearly. You can also hear the exhaust very clearly, and it sounds great when you get on it. When I got out of the car and recorded I couldn't hear anything outside of the car. I'm not sure how to turn it on or off, but I would assume it's in the pdr options or settings somewhere. You'll find it.. It's such a cool feature.!

Reason: No need to requote the OP, especially when you're the next poster.

Not from a Mac... I've tried VLC, but must be doing something wrong...
Upload it directly to YouTube - as original mp4 file. Then, play it back.
If it plays back fine, then you probably have a codec issue.
You are using Windows Media Player, I presume? Windows 7, 8, 8.1 or 10?
