2015 MyLink

Anyone know if we will be getting an update on the 2015 mylink?

I don't have nav on mine so the only app I have is pandora, really hoping I could get more apps on there somehow.

Also, would it be possible to get CarPlay in the 2015s?

This has been asked a few times already and truth be told, no one knows. Most seem to think the answer will be no, but maybe GM will make a lot of people happy and have a solution. But prob not.

Chevrolet My Link, ask your dealer if update is available. I know an update is available for the 2014 (update did not change or add apps). Car play, if available, probably will be cost prohibable. Research possibably of purchasing a 2016.

Chevy does not have a strong history of providing feature updates. Only bug fixes.

Actually GM did answer the question and it is........ NO.
Why...not hardware upgradeable. The 2016 will have new hardware vs. 2015 and as a result it is not upgradeable.

There may be aftermarket modules available that will provide software updates but the new hardware features would not be supported in the 2015.
