Default 2016 Shipments/Availability

Some 2016s were build prior to the week of 6/22.

I had a TPW of 6/29 and I did the Buyer's Tour on 6/25 and 6/26.

Was told that there would be a two week QA hold on the 2016s.

So, the question is: When will the first 2016s be available for Museum Delivery or shipped out of the plant.

Would members with early 2016 Builds check with Customer Service and/or the Museum, and post what your build date was and when the car was shipped or scheduled for Museum Delivery.

I am hoping that this will provide all of us 2016 customers, some guidance on when the cars will be available to us.

Thanks

I just finished my buyer's tour today. I have an x-co-worker that works at NCM now and chatted with him today. He feels that there will just be the regular two week hold on the 2016's and that they will start to be released after the 4th of July. He has worked there since 2002 and he claims he has never seen a dealer get a Corvette faster than the R8C. So, it seems that R8C's will get them out the door first and that they should start next week! Of course, none of this is really validated from Corvette officials so I think we will keep waiting... The fact that they cars coming off the line today with no pricing (except the Z06) seems like things are still being worked out. However, the couple behind me on the buyer's tour said they have been in dealers lots before with the no pricing on the window sticker, so seems like they will go out with no pricing on the window sticker.

Personally I am hoping that I will get both window stickers. The one that has the pricing and the one that does not have the pricing.
