Default Spring Mountain - Just do it

I just completed the 2 day course at Ron Fellows/Spring Mountain. If you are delaying/debating/equivocating - stop. Just sign up for the course. It is a terrific value at $1,000. Everything is first rate: the instruction, cars, facilities, food. I am amazed that my Chevy dealer never mentioned this additional benefit when I was buying my Vette. As a bonus, the scenery surrounding the facility is amazing. A terrific life experience.

Yep - - - just what he said.

I did Level 1 when I bought my C6 in '11, then did Level 2 in '12 and went back to Level 1 with my '14. The Stingray is sooooooo superior to the C6s we played with in '11 & '12 (even the GS and ZR-1 that we had the opportunity to drive).

It's a lot of fun and beating on someone else's car for the $1,000 is a great value indeed. Problem is now I really want to go back for more.

I hope to go in the spring.
I bought my 2015 C7 off the dealer showroom floor last month and a couple of weeks ago Chevrolet actually sent me a welcome, with a "Corvette" leather glove compartment folder, a small Corvette design story book and the invitation to the Ron Fellows School -maybe something new?

Actually GM has been doing this for some time. Anyone that buys a new Vette gets this. If you weren't aware, the leather folder matches your interior color. Mine is Adrenaline Red.

I'm scheduled to be there late next week. 7/9-7/11. 1st Corvette, 1st performance driving course. So many great threads, comments, testimonials and recommendations about these guys, I can hardly wait. Only regret is that I didn't sign up soon enough to get the three-day course.

Hope to see other forum members there.

Default Going late October

3 of us with 2015 Z51's are going the 3ed week in October. I'm taking the level II and the others level I . Did Level I in 2006 and it was great. Looking forward to level II and checking out Front Sight which is also located in the same town.

Sounds fun.
How long are the days? E.g. start at 8am and finish at 5pm?

The letter I received says 7am - 3pm both days. Earlier the better I guess with the desert heat

Registered for 7/13,14. 7am - 3pm. Long range weather forecasts about 110 F that week, and only down to 89 at night. Hope the A/C s are fully charged up.

It's on my bucket list. Got a chance to ride with one of the Ron Fellows drivers at Bloomington Gold last week. Quite the experience.

I was very worried about the heat - it was up to 115 at points during the day. It was not an issue. The cars have AC (of course) and ventilated seats. I didn't hear anyone complaining about discomfort while driving. You are way, way too locked in on the driving experience to even notice.
