I am having an issue with the back up camera pulsing. My picture goes light then darker and back to light. It just started this today and I'm wondering if others have had this issue.
My screen does not do this at any other time. Only while in reverse.
Ideas?
Thanks

Might be that it is just the one bad apple in the bag...but it is weird watching the screen.
I've got same issue with mine. Intermittent, but about 40% of time backing. sometime black screen with white text saying "Service Rear Vision System"..Sometimes license plate goes to top of screen (reverse pic) Taken to dealer 3 times for it...each time dealer said they could not find anything wrong. Nothing done. 2014 model VIN 1459.

I had a similar problem and it turned out the plug wire connection behind the rear bumper was not making a complete connection. Used a small amount of dielectric grease and made sure connection was tight. Problem solved.
Only down side was had to remove bottom part of bumper and loosen rest to reach up and get connector.
Used forum procedure for removal and didn't have any problem with bumper - good learning experience in that respect.

Kind of what was thinking, really didn't want to remove the fascia but it looks as though that will be next weekends project.
Thank you for the post, good information.

So the Camera has a plug that can be disconnected at the camera, i.e.you can replace camera without replacing wire to front of car?? Wonder why dealer service couldn't have checked the plug???

Update:
Installed Z06 spoiler on my Z51 C7 this weekend. Had to remove upper rear bumper fascia.. including disconnecting the rear camera connector. after reinstalling everything.. no more flickering, flashing, ....so far. So my suggestion is if your rearview camera display is flickering (and you've had all of the software updates) then give this a try.. disconnect and re-connect the camera's connector.
to disconnect it, you need to pull out the red tab...then go to the other end of the connector and place a pick in the slot, pressing up against the black tab inside the connector, and then pull it apart.
