Bring it back and let them take it off. If they damage it, its on them!

I never would leave the lot with junk like that on any car truck I own. In fact when I buy a car I write in right on the sales contract!

Fishing line and Goo Gone if it's glued on.

The Goo Gone works great. Pour some on let it soak for about 5 minutes to soften up the glue.

A hair dryer to soften the adhesive will help pull off the logo. Goo gone for any heavy residue with a microfiber towel. Rubbing alcohol, with a clean/different microfiber towel to finish the removal.
Then a coat of quality wax, I suggest Adams products, to protect the paint.

Dealer asks me before applying. Therefore it does not have to be removed. Sometimes they will sneak a dealer license plate holder on and that also comes off before I drive away.

This. If it is just a vinyl decal, I've used a hair dryer and gently lifted them off with my fingernail. You have to be careful not to scratch the clear coat. But best way is to request the dealer take it off.

^^^^ This......

I can't belief a dealership would do that on a Corvette.

I just took the dealer logo off my new truck. I used a heat gun for about 2 minutes and it peeled right off, whole. Very easy.

Just playing devils advocate - If the dealer scratches/damages the paint while removing it, then tries to fix the damage they caused and they muck that up too, then what?

Folks may be better off doing it themselves. Looks like the hair dryer strategy works.

Thanks everyone. Used the hair dryer and had a little patience and it worked.
Then I put on a few coats of Rejex. Now I have two matching sides!!!

My salesman knew I would never drive that car off the lot with a dealer sticker so he made sure one never got put on. I've seen some others come through the showroom with a dealer sticker on and I cringe. I don't know who think's that is a good idea....

When I bought mine I told the dealer that when I came to pick it up I would not take it if they put a dealer sticker on the car. They did not.

Hope you can get it off without too much grief. I think I would take it back as well.

Be safe, have them remove it. Why would you want to take chance and damage brand new car.

They should never have put it on in the first place!
