A hair dryer to soften the adhesive will help pull off the logo. Goo gone for any heavy residue with a microfiber towel. Rubbing alcohol, with a clean/different microfiber towel to finish the removal.
Then a coat of quality wax, I suggest Adams products, to protect the paint.
Dealer asks me before applying. Therefore it does not have to be removed. Sometimes they will sneak a dealer license plate holder on and that also comes off before I drive away.

This. If it is just a vinyl decal, I've used a hair dryer and gently lifted them off with my fingernail. You have to be careful not to scratch the clear coat. But best way is to request the dealer take it off.
Bring it back and let them take it off. If they damage it, its on them!
Just playing devils advocate - If the dealer scratches/damages the paint while removing it, then tries to fix the damage they caused and they muck that up too, then what?
Folks may be better off doing it themselves. Looks like the hair dryer strategy works.
My salesman knew I would never drive that car off the lot with a dealer sticker so he made sure one never got put on. I've seen some others come through the showroom with a dealer sticker on and I cringe. I don't know who think's that is a good idea....
