Hi, This is my first Corvette. I received an e-mail on 30 Jun from Mike Furman with my VIN for my new Corvette.

Does this means my Corvette has been built?

If my Corvette is built does my Corvette just need to be shipped to Criswell?

Thanks

I got my vin in the same email to let me know my car was produced, so I think it's good news.

VINs are assigned as part of the pre-production paperwork. The good news is, your car is definitely scheduled to be built. Mike should have given you a six character order number. With that order number, you can go on line at chevy.com (?) and go to customer service chat link. They will ask for your order number. Then they will give you a production event status code. A status code of 3800 means your vehicle is built.

Congrats on getting a VIN - shouldn't be long before you have the car.

Thanks. I contacted the Chevy Customer Service Chat site.
Reginia wrote that my Very first Corvette is built

No idea when I will take delivery.

Can a C7 be hot wired? I was thinking of going to BG and if my Corvette was just sitting there waiting to be shipped ......

Just kidding. Really I am just kidding.

This waiting is worst than when I was waiting to start Air Force flight school. At least i had orders with a date then.

Why not just ask Mike?

Mike is on vacation. I don't want to bother him.
