Default Paint protection

I'm looking to order a paint protection kit for my car. I see a few companies make them.. xpel, 3M, suntek, cleartastic. I'm mechanical inclined and have done decal kits on cars in the past so I'm going to do it myself. I've been reading up and hearing different opinions as to the best kit. Can someone post here or PM me who sells these kits? I'm not having much luck finding them. Thanks.

Here's a DIY kit that may interest you. Don't know if you are looking for more but maybe this may help

I just spoke to them on the phone and they don't have a precut kit for the C7 nose out yet.

Default Something really cheap?

I've been thinking about the paid protection sheets in general. This is because on my 2014, the stuff that came on the car seems to do a pretty good job of protecting the paint in the areas that are covered. But...there are little white spots all over it where rocks etc have impacted the plastic. No damage to the paint but the spots on the plastic itself doesn't look so great.

I've been thinking that a great product would be something really cheap that could be easily put on and taken back off by the owner. That way I could just peel it off and replace it a couple of times a year. I see the bulk rolls are relatively cheap so the way to go may be to make my own template (or buy one if someone sells such a thing) and cut my own.
