They are definitely better than the 14/15 version. However, I still prefer the Z51 wheels. To me, the Z51 wheels have the sharp lines that match well with the sharp lines of the car. The new base wheels (to me) are too soft looking, don't have sharp lines and just don't go well with the car. But again, they are still much better than the previous version.

I do like the style these wheels a lot but the one problem I do have is when you compare them to the bigger Z51 wheels it really accentuates the taller tire of these smaller wheels. I think if I were deciding on which route to go if I were ordering a 2016 right now, I'd need to see both the base wheel and the Z51 wheel on vehicles side by side to make my final decision. And as good as these wheels look in pictures, sometimes that doesn't translate to how they'll look in real life.
I absolutely love this R86 wheel. But you can only get it with two of the three "Design Packages". Add $3099 for the "Spice Red" package.
Add $3495 for the required Magnetic Ride. Add the required 3LT over 2LT = $5290. And that wheel get's very expensive. A similar car without mag ride and with a 2LT interior and Navigation is about $9,000 cheaper. That's why I decided to drop the "Spice Red" and go with the less expensive car. Plus you can't order the "Design Packages" yet.
I'm wondering what a set of those R86 wheels would cost from the parts department when they are available?
