I can't say I'm the biggest fan of chrome wheels, however they look great matched up with LBR. All models, Stingray, Grand Sport, and Z06!

Yes, I know. I wanted some photos before the ride home (just in case). Hope to get some with better backgrounds soon.

Looks like Kalahari for the interior--perfect match. I'm gravitating between LBR and kalahari and Torch Red with Black (red stitching). Both seem to go together really well. I would choose red calipers regardless.

The Long Beach Red with Jet Black/Red Stitching also matches up well.

I know Kalahari is popular, but to me it reminds me of peanut butter or a basketball. I can't decide.

I know exotics have often matched up red with tan, but I've always liked the darker cockpits. Even living in Florida. Glad we have options.

GS finally arrived!
After being hauled around in semis, trains, and boats, my GS finally arrived here on Oahu and I took delivery on Thursday!

Sorry this photo isn't the best, but I pulled it directly into the garage and started taping it up for paint correction. I didn't even let the dealer wash/detail or install the rocker extensions or front air dam (you'll notice that they are missing in this photo)-- which saved me the time of taking them right back off again since they'd interfere with buffing the lower quarters.

I'm 10 hours in to the 40 hour paint correction using my Rupes buffer and compounds, and then I'll finish it off with Kamikaze Miyabi Coat and some 3M film on the nose. I'll share the "after" photos once I'm done, but so far this LBR is incredible -- and getting even better as I buff out the "orange peel" waviness in the paint.

Oh yeah, this is a 2017 GS, 2LT, LBR with Black interior, Carbon Flash Stinger Stripe, Automatic, and the Pearl-Nickel rims. I'm debating whether to add the aftermarket hash marks in Carbon Flash, but will put that decision off for later.

I am a good enough for me customer. I keep my car nice yet don't go overboard on paint. Every trip exposes the car to another blemish. My car unfortunately has a few at 8,000 miles.

A few taken in my driveway without a dumpster.

I like dark red metallic as you can see from the 2008 Silverado LTZ in one of the photos. My 2007 coupe is Monterey Red - looks just like Long Beach Red

Looks terrific! My next one, when I move to Lake Havasu City, AZ next spring is going to be a Z06. Not sure if I will get another LBR yet.

These guys will color match for a DIY project:

http://www.g2usa.com

LBR's paint code is 405Y. Or you could powder coat, those guys could color match too.
