Free Brickyard 400 tickets from Chevy
I bought a new C7 Z51 in October 2013, and then a new C7 Z06 in December 2014 from Chevy.
Last month I received an email from Chevy, stating that they were giving me tickets to the Brickyard 400 race at Indy. I printed my vouchers and was told to redeem them for tickets at the race. I tried to find out where the seats were located, to no avail.
When we arrived, we were 'seated' in a grass field (no seats, and basically no view of the race).
I know the tickets were free, and maybe I shouldn't have expected more, but I thought I would at least get a seat.

Wow. Thanks GM
Kind of embarrassing if you ask me. If you want to make a nice gesture, then do so. Reward a customer for paying roughly $150,000 for two cars in a short amount if time. But terrible lawn seats? That's like receiving free movie tickets, and being seated outside the theater in the hallway.

at least you got something, Canadian customers purchasing a Stingray didn't even get one of those welcoming packages but yet they were more than happy to collect part of Canadian taxpayer's 9 billion dollar bailout money.

I guess I can't complain. This is the second year in a row after buying my '14 C7 that GM gave me 4 free tickets to Hershey Amusement Park in Pa. Funny the wife, daughter-in-Law and 2 grandkids went there today.
Plenty of seats there too!
Oh, and I took a 75 mile ride through Chester/Lancaster County, Pa farm country in my C7

For the last 2 years the only thing GM sent me was a coupon for a test drive session at Hershey Park.
In the last 5 years I bought 2 corvettes, 1 camaro, 3 trucks, 1 cuv.

Again, I don't mean to complain about FREE tickets, but I really wish that I would have known they were simply lawn seats. I ignorantly thought that they may actually be some 'special' seats for C7 customers.

Some may say it's the thought that counts, but you would have thought there would have been actual grandstand seats involved in the offer.
