It's good to be back in a C7.

Very nice car! But your timeline doesn't make sense. If the 15s came out in August/Sept of 14, how could you trade it off after a year and then miss the C7 for 8 months?

My first C7 was a 2014 bought new in November of 2013. That was what I traded off.

My initial post is a typo and should have said I had a '14 NOT a '15.

Thanks for noting that!

Yep, it's a great color. I took mine to my company picnic today, and all kind of people were talking about what a great color it is. Several of my co-workers told me that they saw people who aren't with our company posing for pictures with the car.

I'm surprised it only accounted for 4% of sales of the 2015 MY. But I like having something uncommon that gets so many compliments.

BTW, there's a thread dedicated to pics of DOSM Corvettes: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...r-dsom-c7.html

Great looking car! We thought about DSOM but went conservative with SGM. Seeing DSOM cars like your makes me wonder if we made the right decision! Congrats and enjoy!

My '14 was black and I do love a black car. But this color makes the accents really stand out plus it shows the lines better such as the small creases in the hood, etc.

I could not be happier and am so glad I bought it.
