Just a thought. Be sure the dealer has a touchless tire machine! Our large Chevy, BMW, Mercedes dealer does not-nor frankly do they do enough low profile run flats to justify one or have a technician who has does enough to do it properly! They use the Firestone dealer in town that has one and even they only allow 2 of their ~20 technicians do low profile run flats. That is the only place I will have mount tires. They have done my C6 and mounted the Tirerack purchased tires bought for my wife's Cayenne.

I do believe in 2008 GM wouldn't offer chrome split spoke wheels because they had an issue with the design of the split spoke.
If they couldn't get chrome to stick then why would it stick now to a wheel that is very close in design.
