2016 ordered today
Well after lurking here for 8 months, learning everything I can from the knowledgable members and dealers, listening to the complaints, issues and often humor, I finally pulled the trigger and ordered it.
2016 Base Stingray non Z51, 2LT Arctic White, Adrenaline Red
two tone red/black seats, red calipers, performance exhaust, automatic, carbon flash package and Z51 spoiler and other assorted goodies. I consider it a middle of the road car, not stripped down or over loaded.
Theonly thing I could not get was carbon flash mirrors without getting the mag ride shocks. I think that is stupid to require mag ride for carbon flash mirrors, but I am happy this way, it is exactly what I wanted. AND they have allocations.
This car will join the other 2 white cars in the garage, a white Porsche and a white Mercedes SLK. Roadsterboy is happy now.

Actually to get the carbon flash Z51 spoiler, that can be had as a stand alone option. Getting the outside mirrors in carbon flash requires the Mag shocks for $3500, which is STUPID. The old ZF1 Appearance Package allowed that and now its gone...for now in MY2016s.
I guess I can either have them painted which I'd hate to do or try to order a set from gmpartsdirect site in carbon flash. I will just probably leave them alone as they are in body colored mirrors but that isnt my preference when I settled in on carbon flash accents on a white car.
