I'll be picking up my first Vette on Friday, and I'd love to hear some suggestions for places to visit, eat, etc. Any traditions or rituals?
I'll be staying in Nashville too, so let me know if there's anything to die for in Nashville or Bowling Green.
In Nashville....the GRAND OLD OPERA for sure. Lots of Honky Tonk Bars ..... Hell, Nashville is the home of Country Music. Have fun. I'm picking mine up on the 12th and I also plan on spending the night in Nashville....

The last time I was in Bowling Green(two months ago) I stayed at the La Quinta Inn(great place, rated #2 of all the motels in BG) and ate at the Cracker Barrel next door(walking distance and I was worn out and wanted to just eat and hit the bed) for dinner(nice breakfast the next morning at the motel) and lunch at the café in the Museum.
If you are traveling from/to the north, then I highly recommend lunch at the Whistle Stop in Glendale(exit #86 off I-65).
I'm not a big fan of country music, but I stayed at the Holiday inn Express next to the Grand Ole Opry(motel has a Mercedes van to shuttle you to/from the opry) on a Saturday night and when to the Opry and really enjoyed it(of course seeing Dolly Parton added a lot to the enjoyment).
