Default Console storage solution?

Has anyone here have the leather console travel pouch? I wanted to hear some input from those who have it.

I was also wondering if anyone had other solutions for storage in that area? I saw that the C5's and c6's had a solution, but was not sure if it would work with the c7

I'm looking for a little more storage for when I do road trips, but I do not like the storage tray that is out there as it covers the cargo hooks.

Thanks for any suggestions.

I used the black leather pouch type left over from my C6 in my C7. Looks good, color is close and and is a great place to keep things from overfilling the console. Especially things that you don't want to get too hot. Hard to safely reach while driving though. Pretty much storage only. Slim

Interesting. My console stays cool. Never had a problem. The extra storage is a good idea.

Chef, where does the pouch in your first link fit?

It goes between the seats facing forward. Hangs from the edge of cargo shelf. Sits high and back enough to not interfere with console lid and has a velcro flap that goes under the cargo carpet edge to secure it. You almost can't see it from a seated position. Had mine a couple of years. The velcro on the opening came unbound last year and had to be resewn. Upgraded to larger and grippier hook&loop. Yeah, the C7 console doesn't get near as hot as the C6 did! Slim

Thanks for the info. Any chance you could take a pic or it in the c7? How big is it in side? Trying to debate if I should go red leather or black leather ( I have red seats).

I was also wondering if the bottom and lid of the pouch were firm, thus not going to sag with item weight.
Thanks!

Glad question was asked and answered, was scratching my head wondering position myself.

Looks like a nice addition to pick up some extra storage.
