Is that a question or a statement?

Hi James. Not being critical but the forum is NOT Twitter! You are allowed more than 140 characters! Just look at a number of my posts, some folks roll their eyes after the first paragraph! In the future it pays to have a subject that can understood quickly. I'm still having to "assume" you want the 3 parts numbers for the base car air dam?? Assuming doesn't work well on the forum. But I don't know for sure.
Someone who may have those numbers (not me) may pass right over the thread! Just thought I'd make the posting suggestion.

Are you talking about that thin vertical strip that goes all the way across the bottom front of the Stingray?

You don't need it unless you routinely drive at 150 mph. I took it off because it seemed to scrape on every driveway I came across. I think the longer middle piece is actually omitted on Z51s.

I'll sell you mine, make an offer.

Ditto. I got tired of replacing mine so I took it off some time ago and haven't missed it. (even at 150).

For what it's worth an air dam is effective at highway speeds in reducing drag, albeit probably not a lot. Agree for aerodynamic downforce (or reduction if that's what is needed, i.e. the Z51) that probably occurs at ~150 mph. This is why it's on the Chevy Volt!
Quoting GM, “With the Air Dam the Chevy Volt has one of the lowest front end ground clearances of any production automobile-as low as some Corvettes. The main purpose for the Air Dam in the Volt is to decrease drag at highway speeds, thus increasing the overall battery range.”
It seldom hits on my C7 and happened when I left my driveway, for example, most of the time with my C6. On my C7 I only have the side dams but others with the base car report the same.

This is the first corvette that I had in many years that didn't hit or scrape everywhere I went, I am very happy about that.

I'm not about to put the center air dam on it to start hitting now.

Nor would I since in a Z51, per a Tadge Juechter comment in a video, it will provide too much downforce at 150 mph and cause some oversteer!
The side air dams are just as low and still don't hit very often in the C7. When they do it's a warning that the next thing to hit is the "radiator support" or what most call "skid pads." Unlike the plastic dams that bend, they are made from aluminum and the sound they make when hitting something is terrible. Hit and dented those several times with the C6! Installed FANG plastic covers on the C7 and fortunately have not had them hit in 22 months!
