Default Grrrr! Need Laser Jammer

Got a ticket going 86 in a 65 while traveling through Mississippi last week. Damn cop was so jealous of the vette he wouldn't not knock off any. He even said when he came up to the window that he wished he could afford the car. Anyway I've been very happy with my Passport Max 2 but in this case he shot me with a laser and I got the warning only when he pulled the trigger which was too late.
I've been told a jammer would have saved me. Is this true and what is the best jammer to buy? Thanks for any advise.

Should be using Escort live as well it may have warned you if he had tried to tag another Escort user or someone had hit the report button.
Works great where there is a lot of traffic. Have watch close as far as you can ahead. Any body or car slow down. I see them when I just look close and practice to.

I am not aware there are any bonafide laser jammers in existence.
I know there are license plate with IR LEDS around it but even if that worked some how the police do not necessarily tag you on the plates when a windshield/hood such a better target.
With Laser guns itss tough to beat if your at the front of the pack.
Perhaps someting new has been produced since I quit looking so looking forward to others knowledge on the subject

Did you offer a ride? Usually if they like the car, you get a break.

I've been running the Laser Intercepter on my C6Z for the past 5 years. It has saved me a number of times. I need to transfer it to my 2016 Z. Look carefully and you can see the sensors/jammers.

You gotta pay if you wanna play.

Catching a speeding ticket is part of owning a sports car. no big deal

Laser detectors are totally useless on a road with no other cars. By the time you are painted, and your detector goes off, it's too late. It works on Interstates with more traffic since you're likely to pick up a signal from the LEO painting another car in front. I turn laser off as they don't use in PA and the closest place that uses it is NY. I've also found that select Infiniti's will set mine off even with the latest firmware.

Yep!! Works!! Just have to pay attention but if nobody has reported it then you will still get nailed.

Thanks for the help, I hated to do it but I just ordered the AntiLaser Priority. $750.00 and that hurt.

(and to stay out of Mississippi)

Almost anywhere they are going to ticket you for more than 20 over...not just "down south". And if you think "down south" is bad, don't try certain places here in Minnesota.

Also check here before buying a jammer: http://www.guysoflidar.com/usa-laser-jammer-laws.html

There are a number of CF folks here with the AL Priority system. It's a "parking system" that you "update" to a laser jammer.

Search the C7 section for the threads. Some installs and screen shots too.

I agree with this as well. I have the ALP system, just haven't had a chance to install it yet. Radar Roy does a great review here:

Lots of information, and seems as if the ALP is the best on the market for all guns.
