Bought the splash guards for my 2016 coupe. Simple to put on the front BUT I got to the back and there are 3 screws there. Do you take off all 3 screws or just one ... and which one!!!
Thanks in advance!!
Just answered my own question by matching up the new splash guard to the car and it's the screw that is closest to the center of the car. Got all 4 on and it was easy. Just get the screw out and pull the old one right off the car! Pop in the new one, screw back in the screw and you're done.
Careful on the front as there is a tab that goes into the slot in the front wheel well and on the back the tab where the screw goes slides inside the body work where the front the tab where the screw goes actually goes on the outside.
I literally just finished putting on my splash guards. As you found out, it is the screw closest to the exhaust but I went ahead a pulled all three out to clean out under the panel. I was surprised by how many small rocks came out of it!

Were these GM or after-market like RPI? If GM, do you happen to have the part #'s?

For others, here is a pick of the right and wrong screws:
In the rear there are 3 screws, only one it the correct one to remove!
Indy Pilot above is correct the numbers are GM 22935639 and GM 22935635. I just purchased them about 3 weeks ago from GMPARTS DIRECT for $121.13 shipping include. I have not installed them because I am waiting for my car to be delivered. I was going to paint them body color but I am having second thoughts about that.

Good Luck.
Got mine from GMPARTS DIRECT for the same price. They were the cheapest. Next was GM WHOLESALE DIRECT at 129.63
so I saw someone say rears aren't needed, is this true?
Hmm, IMO the fronts are optional as they do little! You need side skirts to stop rocker panel marking from stones thrown up from the tires. The small front splash guards do little, just look where GM put the heavy plastic protection. After my front plash guard install, the rocker panel area from the door center to the rear wheel well opening was still getting marked. Added LG Motorsports side skirts an all marking was eliminated. Let me removed the marked up, discolored GM plastic. Car is now 3+ years old and the rocker panels look new!
The rears work since the rear body panel tucks in and is short compared to where the front protection is needed.

what car do you have? fronts are needed on the z06 and gs because of the brake vents extend out.

I have a 2014 but have looked at the GS and don't see how the front splash guards are of much help for the rear brake ducts as they were not for my C7 that far back. I also don't think the GM or the others look all that good with the spats. Have been looking for side skirts that go further back than the base one and perhaps have a front extension that comes up and does intergrate asthetocally and functionally.
Have a few more months for my planned GS so perhaps I'll fine one!
