I found the guide on line. Just create an account on Chevrolet Owners Center at My Chevrolet.com then add a new vehicle. No need to have a VIN then go to Learn About My Car, then scroll down to see View Guides and Maint schedules and see the guide.
I scanned thru it and did not see much that was or should not be intuitive once I get the car.

Thanks, Ammo. A lot of members have been waiting for the 2016 Infotainment Manual. To make it easier, I've attached the manual here in this post. Everyone, please save it to your computer to avoid the need for multiple downloads:

Gee, I wonder where we get the carplay data? Must be a seperate handout once you get the car. Anyone with a 2016 that can shed some light on this?
Disappointed that they removed the SD card slot, and don't see any mention of CarPlay features.
Was concerned when I read your post! Downloaded the 2016 Infotainment and Owner's Manuals and see only one SD reader is in the glove compartment and that only for the recording the camera, if so equipped. It is so nice to have a flush mount SD card in the console for music. Did find this mini flash drive that will be almost flush in the USB port in the console. Hopefully in a few years when I get a new Vette, they will come down in price!
Bummer. However found this cheaper one that is 64GB! $20 on Amazon.
64 GB for ~$20. Fits flush.
Nice find. I didnt know that the SD reader was gone. I just ordered the 128 GB for $80.00 on Rakuten. Now I won't have to lug the big iPod in the console. Will have it filled for my NCM delivery in November. Thanks for your help!
Are there any instructions for how the infotainment system wants to see the music files on the USB drive? I'm planning on copying from one of my iMac/iTunes .wav file playlists, and am curious if I need to be aware of doing anything other than dragging files (songs) to the USB drive.
We've got about an 850 mile drive back from the NCM and I want to make sure that my tunes are working from day 1.

I have had a 2016 for the last 3 weeks. Some of the pictures in the manual don't really match the Nav/PDR system I have. It is probably 95% correct but there are many areas it isn't. It shows stuff that wrong. Doesn't describe certain areas at all. It is really upsetting to have the manual so far wrong from the actual software. I also see videos on YouTube that don't match the manual. Such a shame. I used to write manuals for my company and I can see how poor this one is written. Users Guide is 99.5% correct. It is just the Infotainment Manual.
I have all my files in directories listed by artist, with subdirectories for each album. I created a basic playlist with the directory listing of each song, and have it in the root. I also have a few iTunes playlists in the root.
The media player found everything and so far I have not had any hiccups.
