Hot vent air
Do I need to take my '14' Vert to the dealer or is this normal? On a road trip with our vet club yesterday, top down enjoying the warm day. As we started home I had the outside air set to bi- level. I noticed that the air coming through the vents was quite warm more the the outside air this continued for many miles until I switched to floor vents only. The air coming in on the floor vents was as cool as outside temp. After a few minutes I went back to bi-level and after a couple of miles, very warm air again. When I went to AC all ok but warm when outside air selected and AC OFF. Is this normal?

This is normal for this car. The engine is heating up everything around the firewall, including the ducts. Seems to be by design. Either use the lower vents or let the auto climate control cool the air coming through the upper vents.
