I have been going back and forth with Chevrolet and my dealer on this for almost 15 months, and completely fed up. I get this error screen every few minutes when listening to either Sat radio or AM/FM radio. I have reset every known setting possible, and still, it pops up every few minutes. I've changed iPods, reset iPods, you name it. Any suggestions other than a lawyer?

How much space is available on the iPod?

Any chance to untag songs? Not familiar, but taking a look at the manual now in case something jumps out.

It sounds like your iPod is possibly not compatible with tagging (only certain ones are). In that case, it will keep trying to transfer the info and be unsuccessful, hence the repeated messages. Here are two links I found that might offer some help:
