Default 4B00 = Bayed

Dealer told me that my car was built on Friday 8-07 and it's "BAYED". I have no knowledge of the numbering schedule . What happens after 4B00. What # is used for Delivery Date and how long from BG to Texas.
Thank You

My delivery took 6 days from BG to Texas, although I do not think mine was in the 4B00 status.

The transport company optimizes deliveries by loading a truck going to the same vicinity. Typically, Bayed is collecting these cars and loading them on the truck. If they don't have a complete truck, they might wait for some more cars to be built.

Large dealers can have a complete truck shipped to one dealership.

Won't be long now!!!!

Bayed usually means the car is in need of service and being held at the plant after going through QC. It could add a week or two until the plant releases it to the shipper.

Want be long now, your car won't stay bayed long. All cars go to 4B00. Plenty of dealers in TX ordering 2016 cars. Your vehicle will come by truck and as mentioned, six days sounds right. Congrats

Not true.
Bayed means waiting sometimes for enough cars to ship to dealership.
Mine was bayed from 9/15/14 to 10/20/14.
Arrived 10/27.
