Default 2016 upgrades coming

I Sold my 09 c6 last week accidently (its a long short story) anyway I picked up a 2016 1lt and since I was the original guy who started adding a HUD to the c6 simple version along with a lot of other trick mod's ill be on a mission to do a few on this car. First up is adding a front camera to the 1 lt 2016 (it has hook ups similar to the Z06 just need a usb camera added) and also will be adding HUD as well.

Then on to performance engine mods that wont break the bank to add around 40-60 HP. I'll keep you all up to date. take care, paul

If you ever get the chance to type the story I'd love to know how you "accidentally" sell your car.

I'm not sure why HUD is so important to some. It was in a C7 rental I had and I thought it was kind of a pointless toy. Just as much effort to focus on as glancing down.

I would agree on the c7 its not as big a deal since the gauges are big and digital as well. On the c6 the digital HUD was very cool tho since it had analog gauges.

Let me know part number for HUD. Do you think it will be hard to install?

HAHAHAHA, Well..... I was clay baring my c6 and started thinking how much I had driven it this year which was maybe 500 miles so I called a friend just shooting the SH&* and he's like "what do you want for it" I told him 27,000$ (which looking back was a steal but I tend to make idiocit decisions like that sometimes, ive got a bunch of cars and a few Harleys I customize at our shop just sitting around which is also stupid, lol) he says "I'll stop over and take a look at it" a few hours later he put a check in my hand and I handed him the keys. As he drove off my wife says "what was that all about?" and I really had no good answer, LOL. a few days later I picked up the C7 which is also another great decision I think I lost interest in the C6 and just didn't drive it much.
On the flip side I love the 7,,,,,,,, the technology is just really kool and it rides better for sure. The stereo I was assuming I would add a sub to but its really pretty loud and clean as is, I'm not a huge fan of the 1lt seats but I'm sure I'll get use to that. I lowered it all the way and added a homelink, leds in all the vents and will probably "NOT" do too much to the engine like on the last one (I did catless exhaust, headers, I ported the intake and blueprinted it to get max flow along with vararam and a cow tune that really brought it to life along with a bunch of other stuff)
So ya I'm pretty much an idiot who gets bored and makes baaaaaad decisions

The trick with the HUD is it allows additional information to be displayed. For example, the HUD can display speed and next turn (with NAV) that is more 'in your face' while the DIC displays any of a multitude of information more suited for your periphery or just an occasional glance. I love my HUD.

To each his/her own I suppose.
