I had them on my C5. I loved them for car shows. But they were a major pain in the *** when it came to everyday use. The struts go out often and have to be replaced. It's a major pain. Then it takes forever to realign the doors when they sag. And they will sag! Glad I had them, but won't ever do it again!
These doors look pretty good on the C7. This is kind of on topic for Italian mods for the Stingray...I found this Ferrari F12 style front bumper. I don't want the widebody fender flares or splitter, but the front bumper is nice.
That bumper does work, the flares are nice also
Troy and I talked about body mods ....on the c7 there are not to many things left to do body wise as it looks like what it is - a race car.... IMHO it looks more like a race car more than any other gen of Vette. I think it would look better, lower and slicker if it were about one foot longer. possibly add a foot high wing but that might be to retro .

well,,,, guys been hating on the lambo doors for a few years now. Probably because some of the import guys starting doing them on Honda's etc....l
To many Honda guys, I'd say the vast majority of builders (built them since 1998), they were never acceptable. Body kits and ricer crap got attention....the real honda builders you never noticed because their cars were generally clean and unmodded appearing..simply lowered with wheels, etc...but with a power to weight ratio that exceeded many sports cars (200-500hp/liter). I'd say overall love for them in the automotive community has been gone for....a long time....not a few years. The only genre these have survived in with acceptance is donks and the uber ridiculous custom audio scene....and old guys.
If these after-market doors actually worked like Lambo doors I might be able to see it, but they don't. They still have to swing out before they'll swing up, so you still need a good bit of space to the side, and they don't swing up as far as real Lambo's doors do, so you need to squeeze past them to get out.
If you like the looks and have the money, go for it, but functionally they're worse than the OEM doors and real Lambo doors.
Some one told me that Lamborghini quit them due to new styles that were not conductive to vert doors they used.
Any way mine are on the car. They do allow me easer entry and egress. Besides they look killer also. This at a place near Romeo Fl. were I live.

Are those the ZLR doors? How is closing/opening with the windows up?
