15 Z51 A8 build date 10/14. Don't perceive any major shift problems. But occasional first hard cold shift and hard downshift also before up to operating temp. I don't have any reference on how good this tranie can behave so I'm wondering if I should it re flashed. Does reflash actually improve function? I will say my wife's 14 ATS has a much smoother and crisp shift point thru the gears than the vette.
I had mine reflagged last week and I think it made a big difference in the smoothness of the shifting. I would recommend it. I have a Z06 with a March 2015 build date.
You guys who've had the reflash done, how long did it take them to complete it? It's a two-step process: Reflash and "fast learn" procedures. The latter step requires the tranny fluid to be between 167° and 185° before the scan tool will start the process, and I've seen my car exceed 167° only once since I've owned it. It usually peaks at around 150° even in these 100° day we've been having lately. I'm wondering how the dealers are getting the trannies up to temp, but I suspect the techs are taking them out for an extended joy ride. I think mine would take at least 20 miles of spirited driving to get it up that high.

Actually, it doesn't take long at all. As others have pointed out, they drive it very slowly. It warms up quickly.
