Default Front grill replacement??

Does the whole front fascia have to come off to put NEW one on? I noticed 1 section missing when I got it home.Dealer sent me a new one.Wondering do these things pop in and out somehow or is the whole thing a one piece unit??

Explain what your definition of a grill is, if you have a z51 you will not have a center section under the fascia

you may want to post a pic of the piece you are referring to. There is a plastic piece on the right side that pops in and out. A couple of people have lost theirs. You do not have to remove the front fascia.

Sorry for crappy picture. I looked at the new grill but didn't see where the piece would just pop out.. Don't want to break it.

That's just the access for the tow hook fitting (whether you have a threaded fitting or not). The small piece you are missing just pops in/out. No need to remove bumper!

I would see if they would take the entire grill back and get you the Z06 grill, price is similar I think and looks a ton better

Pull/push on it... You can see where the clips are from the empty opening in your current grille. Since you can hold the new grille in your hands, I'd just push it from "inside out" near where one of the clips is. It shouldn't be hard.

Nice that the bumper removal is not required.
