Don't like it myself...I don't like too many colors that don't seem to have any theme. Yellow is ok with yellow, maybe black but not crazy about it with any other color. Just my $.02
OK, i have red calipers on my SG with chrome Z51 wheels and i love it!! But i was perusing the museum webcams out of boredom and in bay 1 i saw a beautiful Z06 in daytona sunrise orange and quickly saw the yellow calipers and asked why? Does anyone think yellow goes well with this?
I like the red calipers better most of the time, but don't think the yellow looks bad with SG, black, white and yellow. Does anyone think this combo looks terrible, or is it just me? I AM NOT BASHING THE OWNER, IF HE LIKES IT, GREAT!!
The yellow calipers work well with a few colors:
Laguna Blue
Black
Velocity Yellow ('14-'15, apparently they don't match the new Racing Yellow)
Arctic White
Blue = Primary Color, Yellow = Secondary Color; (i.e. complimentary colors). But each to their own.
I have them on my ride. They really look good with my black wheels--people tell me.
I had red ones with my Millenium Yellow 2004. They looked pretty good too.
I really like the look of colored calipers with what ever combo the owner gets.

I personally don't like yellow calipers on orange or red Vettes, but I do have them on my Arctic White and LOVE them. I just wanted a little "color pop" on my white and black car so I thought this was the perfect little touch. Plus, every Arctic White that I have seen has red calipers which is just super overdone in my opinion. It looks good, but I wanted my car to be unique. The only other color I would have considered is blue.
