Lockable storage in convertible
Since there is no key anymore, where do you store valuables when the top is down? Trunk I know but what about sidearms you might not want to carry.

Glove box and behind infotainment center should remain locked when the car is armed right?

With the top down you can still reach in and open the infotainment screen. The glove box stays looked. The best place would be the trunk. Tom

If you put the transmission in reverse the screen won't go down, but that's not really very secure. I don't understand why Chevy locks the glovebox, but not the screen, when the car is locked. Seems like an oversight. I wonder if it's different on a '16.

Just went to the garage and tried mine. Locked the door and opened the glovebox. Maybe there is a separate setting that I missed?

Use valet mode. It locks the glove compartment and the center console screen.

It also locks the trunk. Even with the fob near the rear end, it can't be opened w/o unlocking the valet mode. The button on the fob to pop the trunk is disabled as well.
The center console does not lock. Did you mean the infotainment screen?

Did you still have the fob with you?
