Yep, last year.
If I recall, your car is also coming to NYS?
Mine sat from 9/15/14 to 10/20 awaiting railcar assignment.
Arrived 10/27, picked up 11/1.
Good luck, hope it ships real soon.

you are correct ...it is sitting in Mich. and they will not move it until they get 14 cars to fill the train car ... if I had to do it over I would go to factory to get the car ...heck I even adjusted what I wanted to avoid contraints ..to speed up production ...but little did I know the the shipping is the problem not production.. GM should take a second look at shipping agreements/contracts ..

And the best part is you get the privilege of paying $995 for the destination fee! They should have the option to pay more to get it faster -- that's essentially what you are doing with R8C...

Yep, again, same here unfortunately.
Sitting for 4 weeks in New Boston, MI last year.
Traded in my C6 end of July, so like you, down a car, then it arrived 10/27 in Selkirk, NY railyard just a few miles from my dealer?
(I opted NOT to pick it up until 11/1, that was my choice at that point for various reasons)
I DID manage to get around 500 miles on it before hibernating it.
It WILL arrive...but I understand the frustration totally.

Someone sleeping in your car?
I hear ya about picking it up, I would've thought twice if I'd known the car would sit that long. (But goes to show the battery did not die? )
Hang tough.

I'm think my battery will go dead ...before I get it ... I'm an old guy

All needless and pointless ... ordered the car with options that would make it a quick build ....look where that logic got me ..the car got built ..but ...it aint helping me .....

Well, my battery didn't die from 9/15 to 10/27, so that's pretty good.
(One + out of it all)
Well, we're at the mercy of where we live, bottom line.
It'll get here, hang in there.

It could always be worse, my 14 sat on a rail car in Butte, Mt. for 11 days because it was ZERO or colder, and they were afraid to move it because of the tires. It sat there from 12/30/13 to 1/9/14 when it was trucked the final 200 miles to the dealer. That gave me time to buy Michelin A/S 3's and have them delivered to the courtesy dealer, (Fichtner, in Laurel, Mt.) and purchased from Kerbeck.
PS, I ordered the car in mid June of 13, and it was built on either 11/20 or 11/22 of 13.

Clearly they should be doing overnight air delivery of our vehicles to us!

I completely understand your frustration.
Mine took almost a month to arrive after it was built.
Definitely an exercise in patience!!

Well worth the wait though!!! ;-)

Oh does this bring back memories !
My car was built 9/15/14, shipped to New Boston, MI and sat until 10/20/14 before being put on train to New York (Selkirk). Arrived 10/27.
Whereabouts in NY is your car being shipped to? (Mine to Albany)
Godspeed to ya.
