Default Side Skirt-What To Buy

I'm trying to decide between the Lashway Aero Kit (painted Carbon Flash) or the GM kit for my 2016 Stingray. Any comments will be appreciated. The GM is around $500 more. Is it worth it?

I believe you can get the Z06 style skirts for around $500 on the forums.

I didn't know they had it either and that it fit the Stingray. If so, I'd be interested to know if we can fit the Stage 2 Z06 front splitter and side skirts on the Stingray.

Lashway is an excellent aftermarket alternative. From what I've read and seen, quality components that utilize the existing screw holes on the car. No extra drilling required which is a plus for me.

GM part # is 23495172 but I'm not positive it fits the Stingray. My best price was 2,349 and holes have to be drilled in the car. The GM is a fiberglass piece so I'm leaning toward Lashway.

I got some from RPI painted CF. Real easy install, I think they look good, and no issues getting in/out of the car with them on. Lots of other good options too.

Most the side skirts that are being sold all very similiar in style. They either have the Z06 style or a straight style.

There are various price points depending on the material that the side skirts are made of i.e. fiberglass, ABS plastic, carbon fiber.

The prices vary greatly from vendor to vendor. They all attach to the rocker panels in the same method. The C7 owner has the choice to drill extra holes, use double sided tape, plastic scrivets or metal rivets.

I don't see why some vendors charge so much for their respective products compared with others. Some vendors sell pre painted side skirts, while many C7 owners can do the paint work themselves.

So I suggest you determine a budget, determine a specific style (which I believe the Z06 style is the most popular), determine if you want the side skirts body color painted, decide who does the paint, (you or the vendor) then make a decision.

Some vendors charge what I feel are excessive price points, while other CF vendors charge reasonable prices for the products.

There have been numerous threads and thousands of post ref this issue of side skirts. There is plenty of info available here on the CF so complete some due dilgence and determine whats best for you.

That's correct. I installed these on my brother's and have ACS on mine. Both very similar.

The only difference you will find between all these vendors is price, and the GM 2016 aero package is the most expensive of all. Ridiculously expensive!

How about Lashway? I thought their splitter and side skirts do not require additional drilling and use existing holes.

I went with the C7 Carbon GTX splitter/side skirt combo in exposed carbon fiber finish. Great products, pricing (including free shipping) and customer service. Easy to install. Very happy!

Nice, what is the cost of the Caravaggio side skirts & front splitter? Seems the only way to get a price is to PM him directly.
