Using any of the 3 USB ports is still a crap-shoot as to whether or not my iPod Nano 4 will work. The iPod Nano 7, however, is blue tooth enabled and the description talks about pairing it to your cars audio system. Anybody tried it?
While I've not paired an iPod via Bluetooth, I have connected several Stereo devices to stream music via Bluetooth. While it does work pretty well, I can confirm that playing the same music via direct USB or SD (in my case) provides MUCH better clarity, volume, and dynamic range than Bluetooth Stereo Streaming. I've also noticed the occasional Bluetooth audio cutting out, even though the device wasn't moved or touched.
Bottom Line... While Bluetooth Music streaming is definitely convenient and works pretty well, your music (and the Bose system) will sound much better if you utilize either the USB ports or SD slot. I have 15,000+ songs and playlists loaded on my SD card and they work great, as well as being searchable from the system displays and/or voice commands.
