New 2015 C7 with ECS supercharger and meth. 625 rear wheel.
I am looking to upgrade my tires for better traction with the extra power. I have been considering upgrading to the Michelin 305/35 19 for that extra inch. My main goal is to keep my stock rims because I like the look. I also would like to keep my stock front tires. My question is, is it a problem to run the front run flats with the 305 rears which michelin doesnt make in a run flat. If so does anyone have any other experience with other tires. Again I would like to keep my stock rims.
I ran Hankook V12's in the 305 size on my '09. Good tire and pretty sticky, not pricey. Check with Discount Tire, you can also get on Tire Rack's site and learn a bunch.
I don't believe a 305 will fit on the stock rim...
305's will fit just fine. Ran them on my 09 Z51 equipped car and had no problem running them on the stock wheels. I really wanted 325's but they are a no go as they require a wider wheel.
