Default Any deals on the 2016 models?

Now that there's no credit union discount pricing, is there any way to get a good deal on the 16' model? I'm located in California and found a dealer giving me $1300 under MSRP for a ordered corvette(not off the lot), is that a good deal?

No that's not. Call one of the forum dealers. They'll get you a better deal, and more importantly, give you an allocation to actually get a car. Good luck!

My $750 credit union discount is good through 12/30 and I have a 16 coming so not sure why you couldn't get the discount.

By Credit Union discount, I think he meant same as supplier pricing. I got supplier pricing from Win Chevrolet and was offered same from Rydell.

If you can get 6-7% off MSRP, that is equal to supplier/credit union/military pricing. Check the forum dealers.

There is nothing but greed to keep any dealer from discounting the car. Even though the CU discount ended and I don't qualify for supplier pricing, my dealer is discounting mine by 7% on a 2LT base coupe which matches the CU/Supplier.

Call MacMulkin! They will hook you up and with a courtesy delivery at a local dealer or even shipping to your home it will still be a much better deal than what you have been offered locally, plus they have the allocations you need to actually get the car you want! And they're a great bunch of guys that really know all things Vette!

Don't waste your time with local stealerships. They charge too much or offer a deal you can't refuse then they can't produce the car. Call the forum dealers. I don't think anyone will beat MacMulkin prices.

I reached out to Kerbeck and they offered 6.2% off MSRP. I heard that others are getting 9% off MSRP with Macmulkin. I have not confirmed but if that is the case, I will buy from Macmulkin and do a courtesy delivery and still save.

If MacMulkin is discounting 9% and you can work out a courtesy delivery
to your satisfaction that is a GREAT deal. Maybe they have cars that were invoiced before the change in dealer margin.

This is what I did last spring and everything turned out really good. At the time they were doing 11% off non Z51s, but there's a couple % less margin in the 2016s. I'd think someone would entertain 9% off though. My courtesy delivery was $200, but you might see quotes up to $500. Still cheaper than having it shipped from NH. If I can do something with my trade at some point I'd do this deal again for sure. I think that's the hard part with forum dealers. A trade complicates things.

I just bought from MacMulkin with 11% off MSRP + CU discount. With that, my purchase came to MSRP -12%. No dealer fees. They provide 20 day temp NH registration at no cost.

and... They were able to get me financing at .5% less than my CU offered.

and... You can't beat the prices at NH liquor stores (one down the road from MacMulkin) and there's no sales tax on NH liquor.

I am located in Southern California and I am back in the market for a C7. This time last year I could not find a dealer locally that was not marking up a C7 Z51 coupe. I spoke with several local dealers about doing a courtesy delivery and they either told me no or would not respond to emails or phone calls. Since the DMV has a mileage limit which I believe is 7,500 miles the car must have on it if purchased out of state and you take possession of the vehicle from the dealer out of state before the DMV will register the car in California. I remember one dealer in Irvine having a mark up of 10k, the manager came over and spoke to me and stated, " I don't need 10 people to offer MSRP all I need is one person to pay my price". On that note I left the dealership. For me the non response from the several local dealerships about the courtesy delivers or stating they would not do the delivery just made me think what kind of support would I receive when I needed warranty work or other related needs from the dealer.

This past weekend I found a 16 C7 Z51 coupe sitting on the lot and while the salesman was pleasant he said, "The good news is we are not marking the car up from MSRP" but there was no discount from MSRP because, "The car sells its self".

I kinda wonder if that deal still exists after the recent price change. I figure they'll be more at 9% if you called right now. I think there was a total of 14% profit in the C7 if a dealer sold at MSRP, but that has been reduced to 12% recently. I figure Macmulkin is going for at least $1500 profit on each one they sell, so they wouldn't be making much at 11% off these days unless there's hidden dealer incentives.
