Thanks
Have an Optima Yellow Top in my Street Rod. It's 8 years old! Put a Yellow Top in my C6 (because the car was yellow and the OEM failed!)

That said, the top configuration of the C7 battery must have recesses for the ground and positive terminals. There is a large power board with a number of fuses, one 300 amps as I recall, attached to the positive terminal.

Changing the battery is NOT as easy as a C6 or older Vettes (although I recall changing my '88 battery required removing a piece of the fender!

I looked for a while for an AGM battery (Optima is an AGM-not a gel cell) because I had a low voltage in my OEM battery. Finally picked a DieHard (same one shown in the above post) but there are others. Installed it last summer before I decided to sell the 2014 and buy a Grand Sport.

This is a PDF of my install that includes lots of pics and "How To Get The Power Board Off!": http://netwelding.com/Battery_Issues.pdf
