That said, the top configuration of the C7 battery must have recesses for the ground and positive terminals. There is a large power board with a number of fuses, one 300 amps as I recall, attached to the positive terminal.
Changing the battery is NOT as easy as a C6 or older Vettes (although I recall changing my '88 battery required removing a piece of the fender!
I looked for a while for an AGM battery (Optima is an AGM-not a gel cell) because I had a low voltage in my OEM battery. Finally picked a DieHard (same one shown in the above post) but there are others. Installed it last summer before I decided to sell the 2014 and buy a Grand Sport.
