Default Took my friend's 2016 for a spin today

I helped him out picking it up last week at Thoroughbred in Chandler, Az.

A happy camper.

Anyway, today he let me take it out for a drive. Holy crap, what an amazing car. I drive a 99 FRC, which rides like a go kart. This thing just floated over the roughness in the road, turned smoothly and accelerated up to the break-in 5,000 RPM redline in a real hurry.

Of course, all the technology in these cars is mind blowing. They should really have a one day class just to learn all the bells and whistles.

What a hoot. Great car. My only gripe is that the C7 is a smaller fit than my C5. I'm about 6'5" so the C7 is tight. I would have a real tough time driving a manual version of this car.

Oops.

Well it's not like I hung around up in that RPM neighborhood for a long time. I just quickly went through the gears a couple times.
