Drivers Seat Cover

Yes, the "J" retainer on the trim cover must not have been fully installed by the seat manufacturer. You can try to flip it an tuck it back in or take it to the dealer. Unless something is broken, should be quick and easy

Have a 2015 with the same problem. Must be a common problem since my cover and pad have been on back order for a month. Getting a little inpatient. Maybe I should ask them to request a new seat from Bowling Green?

Took it to the dealer today just like you said "J" retainer was not installed properly, now fixed I'll keep an eye on it, to make sure it doesn't happen again. Thanks
