Default C7 Plastidip vs. Wrap

I want to paint my C7 to make it unique, but keep the value of the original paint. Anyone have experience with Plastidip or wrapping the C7, or seen any on the street that cought their eye?

Saw two Plastidipped that looked amazing, orange & copper. Any other possible colors that anyone suggest? I have a 2014 Z51 3LT black ext, black/grey int, with black rims and red brake calipers. Going to be putting carbon fiber exposed ground effects, spoiler, & side mirrors also.

Saw these two that sold me on Plastidip? Wrap any better?

Orange- matte

Copper- glossy

I've plastidipped wheels and pieces on my C6 and it's pretty good, but annoying you will never get all that crud out of every crevice of your car ever again. I also feel like entire panels never look perfect up close, there are always imperfections that drive me nuts.

I'd go for a wrap if you want to do the entire car.

From what I have heard, how well the Plastidip comes off depends on application and removal method. Many layers of Plasti is preferred so that the entire coat stays intact when it is removed. Either method I choose, I will be having this done professionally. Seen some horror stories out there. But thanks for the response Slick, will keep that in mind. Wraps definitely have a much better reflection property also.

My neighbor is the owner of DIP YOUR CAR .com
Look him up on the internet and watch his numerous videos
I have seen his personal 911 turbo done and a Ferrari he had.
The choices are endless

Yes I have watch many Dipyourcar.com videos. The guys on there are awesome and have many great tips. Still want mine done by a professional though. I'm picky on having an extremely even coat.

wraps are expensive and look like window tint along the edges if not cut properly. Im sure they have a durability but what happens if you get a tear or rip or something? With plastidip, there are ways to fix stuff like that.
But Im biased, Ive dipped my vette a few times and peeled it off with keeping the factory paint perfect underneath.
Removal is completely dependent on the application though, too thin and it would be a pain to remove.
