Has anyone been able to place an order or pick up a C7 with the Jet Black Suede package?
I was looking at it today on Corvette.COM build out page and was curious why they are showing a round steering wheel instead of the NK5 (leather-wrapped flat-bottom steering wheel).
I also noticed that part of the dash appears to be suede, which seems cool and matches what you would get with a 3LT Brownstone.
I picked up my 2016 a few weeks ago with the suede seat package. My steering wheel has the flat bottom on it with the seat bottom and back in suede. What I didn't know I was going to get was the shift boot in suede also although it looks pretty good.

The suede package includes everything that the brownstone suede package includes except in black. You however can't get this with color contrasting stitch which is a bummer and the reason i didn't order this option. I really love the extra suede so much that I bought a used center console lid off ebay that I'm planning to re-skin in suede. I'd like to do the passenger air vent surround in carbon fiber instead of suede though.
That sucks. Didn't realize that! Seems strange too.
But you can order the regular Jet Black interior on the 3LT option and add the suede seat inserts and still order red or yellow stitching. However, unlike the Z06, you don't get the suede shift **** and shift boot, nor do you get the suede center armrest or suede passenger airbag cover that comes with the Jet Black package. Just the seat inserts and the normal suede headliner, A-pillars, and visors that come with the 3LT trim.

I ordered 3LT with Jet Black and suede seats with 36S and got the suede shift now and boot in 36S. I didn't get the suede center armrest or suede passenger airbag cover. Those are the two that I would have liked to get with the package.

Yup same dilemma I had, I decided that I'd rather have the red stitch than those 3 suede pieces.

Thanks for the clarification. So you got the shift boot/**** but you did not get the suede steering wheel correct? That's only with the Z06 if you add suede inserts with comp seats if I understand the GM build it site correctly.
I also agree that I would rather have the yellow or red stitching vs. the other suede pieces as I think the stitching adds more pop. The other issue with the Jet Black Suede package is that you get the glossier carbon fiber interior trim and I personally like the satin finish carbon fiber trim more.
I wonder if you can order the black suede center armrest cover and passenger airbag cover separately?

You get the suede wheel with any car that has the suede inserts and comp seats, not just Z06. However the Z06 with suede inserts appears to get the extra suede pieces from the jet black package that the base car doesn't get.
Thanks for this, but just wanted to point out you're sharing someones phone number. j/k but you should probably blur it or something unless it's a dealer or something.
It's a business line for company. It's alright. Good point out though.
Great glad you don't have to take the photo down. It's a beautiful option that a lot of people miss out on. In my opinion it really adds a bit of a high end super car touch to the interior. Plus it feels way better in the hands. It's going to look great with the red stitching in mine.
I wanted suede inserts. Was skeptical about the wheel...then I drove it home!!
Yeah, it's one of those options that once you see it in person and feel it in your hands you just fall in love. Same happened to me, didn't really care one way or another, then I saw it on a car and was sold.
