I think I see my car in some of those Criswell pictures when C6's were in season!

WHEW!!!

What a historical and memory laden ride, Mike.

So many takeaways, I don't even know where to start.

Amazing how the steering wheels in the C1 were as large as the children standing behind them.

I believe I recognized a couple of pictures in your photo collage from your surprise visit 3,000 miles out to Prescott, Arizona for our 2014 Prescott Vette Sette Corvette Club Car Show last September.

Thanks for the memories......

I was at the 94 Malcolm Konner show and had Zora and Dave M sign a poster. Zora dragged his hand over his signature and smeared it a bit. I think 95 was his last appearance at Malcolm Konner annual corvette show. He gave a talk at the end and he was really rambling-really sad-I wish I had seen him in his prime.

My good buddy Joe showed up with a sweet roadster back when we were stationed together at Ft. Belvoir, VA. Here's an original picture and riding in that car, with a 340 hp 327 got me hooked.

Then later I saw one just like it a Carlisle and sent it to him. He almost had a heart attack!

We've kept in touch and he also still loves Vettes. Took me a while and 4 kids all thru college but finally I got a C5,

then a C6,

and now a C7.

My dad had a 65 and 66 roadsters the first years of my life. My parents' divorce took care of that. My dad's owned 16 Corvettes since 1969 when he graduated College and went into the Flight Program for the Navy. I'm on my 3rd C5 and saving up for a C7 Z07(already got the plate for it).

It's in my blood.

Great Corvette lineage.
