My CA mini has gone haywire. It will no longer chirp when I turn the ignition on and goes nuts about 10 minutes into my drive by chirping every few seconds. It makes me want to yank the thing out!! I've reached out to the Curb Alert folks to no avail.
Does anyone know how to get a live representative from their company on the phone??? No numbers are listed anywhere to call. I would like to save my new splitter from destruction.
I haven't had any problems with mine and I love it! However, I had a question during installation and I wanted to call somebody's Customer Support. There were four or five totally different companies listed on the invoice, packaging and instructions. None of them listed a phone number and (I think) no addresses either.
Sorry you had troubles with yours, hope you can find someone to replace the defective one you have.
Why are there so many companies listed with the package and no phone support? It gives the appearance that no one wants to responsibility when something goes wrong.
sent bill a text - he should respond here to you...
Glen I am having the exact same problem with one. Also sometimes it works properly but most of the time it doesn't. If you could help me also I would appreciate it.

Everybody that has one, that he likes it , will tell you that you have to do the calibration the correct way. And if it doesn't work, try again .....once it locks, its dead on. I have not adjusted mine in almost a year, works every time.
Dumb I am - but I got it installed about a year ago - LOVE IT. I am scared that I will 'knock off' the unit under the car but so far it is still there. Now the little unit with the stick on tape under the dash - well it gave me some issues and finally got pissed off and used some Velcro from a previous project - that seems to keep it in place. YES - love it.

Same here. Not one problem since I installed it almost 18 months ago.

I predict either your positive or more likely negative battery post connection is loose. Check and tighten, problem solved.
Mine has mostly worked great. There have been a couple of times it failed to sound as I approached a curb. The first time I scraped. And on bright, sunny days it sometimes false alarms when driving over white pedestrian crossing lines and the like, because IR from the sun reflects off the paint into the sensor.
I'll put up with that, but I think I'd prefer the cameras the '16 has.

I don't really like this product as installation was a PITA and it takes too long to respond and gets false triggers. Even the calibration process is questionable... put is simply I had a lot of issues and I got tired of messing with it. But one of the things that you should check is the ground & hot lugs. I recommend soldering them as the crimp on mine was so loose that I could easily wiggle the red hot wire and see it moving in the crimp. After soldering I could finally get the system working but it seems to be a dumb sensor without a lot of processing behind it leaving a lot of room for error.
similar to what my C6 one did. I adjustaed and set it a dozen times but would go off just driving down the road. Spoke to someone and adjusted it again with no results. I just turned the damn thing off, lol
I got tired of the false alerts so I put the speaker under the steering wheel. When I pull In to a parking spot, I turn on the speaker and the turn the speaker off once I park. The speaker has a slide switch on it.
