Brake burnishing process - HPDE Prep?

Forum Friends,

I have a 2015 A8 Z51 built in April of this year. After 2,6000 miles and 2 AutoX events, do I still need to do the brake burnishing process?

I am attending a HPDE event at VIR this Friday and was wondering if I should do the burnishing process first. I never did it when I first bought the car.

Assuming you are talking about a Z06 w/Z07 option (CCBs), IMO you should do the proper burnishing before your HPDE event.

for the non-CCBs, proper bedding of the pads is recommended (see the OM).
Suspect that has been partially accomplished via your autocrossing...
