And Macs were so 2000's. We're now in 2015! I run Linux! I surely am not switching everything over from Android/Linux to crappy Macs because I ain't done drunk that koolaid... I'm constantly amazed when I mean an iDevote that they think some functionality is really cool when we in the Android and Linux community have been enjoying it for years. Why step backward?

2015 Vette with Galaxy S6 edge running hangouts. I get all my texts via BT. As bucknut said, I think your problem is you are using Google Voice.

Who said anything about Windows? Fanboy much?

If you read the forums for very long, you'll find complaints and issues from iPhone users, too.

There was a place to enter in your phone #. I had my carriers number in there. I put in my GV #. I hope that works...

When I go to settings-Bluetooth, there is no setting or choice for text message alerts.
