Default Finished Radio Controlled replica of my C7

I finished a radio controlled replica of my C7. It's not a hobby grade R/C vehicle. It is a toy grade vehicle made by New Bright. My wife said I was crazy to buy it. We walked out of the toy store (we had gone to buy something for an actual child) and I was grinning like an 8 year old.

The video link below is a short video of the real car starting up in the garage followed by it's R/C "mini me" starting up in the garage. I have also posted some pictures of the original toy car as it came in the box & pictures of the disassembly, painting & the final product. I also posted a pic of the real car.

Very cool. I'm going to see if they come out with one in Laguna Blue. If they don't in the next several months, I'll be doing the repaint like you have.

Very cool! How long did it take you to do all the mods on the mini?

You did a great job making the toy match the car.

Total time spent was around 10 hours over the course of 14 months. It took way longer than I initially thought it would.
