2016 C7 Corvette Stingray Tachometer Limit Lifted @ 500 miles.

Excuse me if this video was previous posted.

Video shows prior to reaching the 500 mile break-in-period the rev limit indicator in the tachometer will show yellow starting @ 3500 RPM and redline @ 4000 RPM. When the car reaches 500 miles (break-in mileage reached) the RPM limit will change to 6500 RPMs. Very cool.

Old news did it on the 2014's and the 2015's, It will also revert back to the 3500 RPM limit when the car is cold.

They also have a yellow shift light arc that illuminates around the circumference of the tach when cold if RPM approaches the limit.

Yup. Nothing new about that.

There is no RPM "limit" either, just the display to alert you.
