One month ago I picked up my AW C7 Z51 and I am enjoying every minute of it.
My cousin and I who are are close friends and knows I received my new corvette but has not seen it yet gave me a call and said he was downtown (small northeast Pa. town) this past week and seen a brand new white corvette with red calipers, Knowing this is what I ordered he followed it into the bank only to find out it was not me driving.
To his surprise (and mine) it was Mario Andretti.
I went on line and found a July 2015 (two month old) interview with Mario where he said he just bought a new Corvette ZO6.
I always felt I was in good company with all you top notch folks here on the forum, but this sort of kicks it up another notch. Enjoy your C7's. Casey
Yep, that's cool. I do remember the Magna Flow ( Flowmaster ? ) commercials where he is driving a C6, which I thought to be his.
Word of mouth is better than any GM P.R. and they don't have to pay him.
I suspect Mario can and does drive and own all kinds of cars, but he's been a Corvette guy for quite some time. He even used to advertise his Corvette along w. Magnaflow mufflers. Not sure about Michael tho....

I met Mario and Jay Leno at the MavTV 500 IndyCar race at Auto Club Speedway on June 27. I and my crystal red C7 vert were part of the 23 Vette vert drivers introductions parade lap. Mario seems like a genuinely nice guy.
When I was writing for a local newspaper about 10 years ago, I got to interview him. All of my colleagues knew that I was the only one who gave a damn about racing, so they gave the story to me. He was truly just a nice guy and treated me with so much respect despite me being a 23 year old kid straight out of college asking him questions he's probably heard a million times.
He could tell by the questions that I was asking (it was May and I'm a huge Indycar fan) that I was a fan, so he offered me an autograph, but I had to turn it down (DAMN JOURNALISM!) That remains one of the few regrets from my old career.
