Not legal in MA either, but neither is my exhaust, tinted tail lights, no front plate, ride height or Road rallies!
I tinted mine due to the heat in the cabin while parked, did the trick and yea, it looks bad ***.
50% on windshield and 40% all around.

I don't think its legal in any state below the windshield hash mark, unless prescribed by a doctor.
I Have had 50% on my cars windshields for years, and have only been pulled over once in my Panamera. There was a trooper on the side of the road and pulled me over because he said he could not see inside my windshield as I drove past. He just gave me a warning and told me to remove it.
It does definitely help with glare.

I don't think it's legal in any state, but there is special tint for windshields that deflects 95% of UV rays but show very little change in color so you can hardly tell anything was done. I know a few local Corvette owners here in Florida who have it. I plan to add it as well.
