3LZ, is there another way to back the seat other than opening the door or press and hold the exit button until all the way back, sometimes i don't want to open the door and would like to press once and have seat move back, like it does in my cadillac
If I understand the question, you want to (a) keep the door closed and (b) tap the exit button rather than hold it down? The process to enable a tap depends on the transmission and whether you have previously turned the car off. If the door is closed and the car is on and you are in P (A8) or the parking brake is set (M7) then a tap on the exit button is all that's needed to move the seat to the exit position. If the door is closed and you have turned the car off then you will need to hold the button down until the seat moves to the exit position with the car in P or the brake set.
I do this all the time......I drive up to my community mailbox, put it in park, hit the EXIT button, the seat goes back, steering wheel goes up, I open the door and get out.
Then when I get back into the car I have to hit the #1 for my seat and it all resets.
I tried this on my 2016 Stingray. Auto Memory recall doesn't work. In fact, it moves the seat back and down when the ignition is turned on. Easy Exit works but Auto memory has to be turned off and the 1 or 2 memory button has to be pushed and held each time you get in the car. There is no option for on with ignition etc. I think that auto memory recall should work when the ignition is turned on. At the very least, it should have memory recall at the press of button 1 or 2. You should not have to press and hold button 1 or 2 until it is finished recalling the set position.

I switched the keys that were in the fobs so that key #1 was in the fob that key #2 was in so that way the fob that had key #1 was in fact fob #1. I then got in and Auto Memory Recall worked as it should! All I had to do was switch fobs. Thank you Cute Ginger.

Good!
You also have to remember to keep the parking brake on (if M7) or leave in Park (A8) until the seat finishes moving. In my M7, once I release the parking brake, all memory movement is suspended.
So if I understand you correctly, and I really think I do, you were planning on picking up some groceries while leaving our corvette running. Sorry, but I have to shake my head.

Since I'm only driver I set #1 position for when I get in and drive and I set exit where I want it to get out. I then set #2 position to move everything out of the way and so if need it I just push #2???
