During a recent visit to Bowling Green and seeing all the Corvettes on Corvette Blvd awaiting their museum delivery, the question was asked about what product was used to shine all the cars. The answer was
C-Majic. Can anyone comment on this product, do you use it and how do you like the results.
I use it in the winter months because it removes better then Zaino does in the cold. I find it lasts the same. I had both applied to the hood of my wife's car and watched the two "age".
Adams is a marketing agreement, has nothing to do with the museum. And yes the museum uses c-magic which are good products. But like I have said before, it really does not matter what they use as the final step ( the wax) because the final step is not the "magic" of shine, it's the polish. The polish also makes the last step more durable. But they don't make a fine finishing polish.
I have been told the museum does a "quick detail" - which means a wash, then a spray of their "detail wax" wax which is not enuf for good long term protection, more like protection for the ride home. They do not do a full clay/polish/seal detail. So buy c-magic products if you want, but do more than they do.
