open the drivers door and look at the sticker that shows vehicle weights etc.

top left corner will give you the build month and year.

You can always call the museum library/archives folks and ask them to look it up on their computer and they will can provide you the exact day it started down the assembly line.

Mine matched the date on the Certificate of Origin. Since you have a 2016, you could also try going to the order status web site (link below) and plug in your order (6 letters listed on your window sticker) and pull up the build sheet.

Email Chevy Customer Support. I just recently emailed Chevy Customer service with my VIN and asked ... They replied back:

Dear Dan,

Thank you for contacting Chevrolet with regard to your 2014 Chevrolet Corvette build date. We apologize for the delayed response to your email due to high email volume.

Using your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), it shows in our system that your vehicle was built on the assembly line on 07/31/2014.

If at any point you need any further assistance please reply back to this email (please reply with history to this email for fastest response) or contact the Chevrolet Customer Assistance Center at 1-(800) 222-1020. Customer Relationship Specialists are available Monday through Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. EST.

Thank you again for taking the time to contact Chevrolet.
